Over 34,000 Coloradans voted in the contest to determine the two winners in the 13 plus and U13 age divisions. Evan Grace Heimer of Denver, the winner of the 13 plus Division, took inspiration from the Colorado State flag, Rocky Mountains and mining industry in his design. The winner of the U13 division, Calista Blaschke, also of Denver, included Pikes Peak, fortune hunters, the Lark Bunting and Blue Spruce tree in her design. The winning plate designs will be available for purchase from August 1st, 2023 through August 1st, 2027. Singles game night at the Zoo Gallery in Cortez will try to put a new twist on speed dating on Friday, March 21st. The gallery wants you to bring a single friend and the gallery will pick your matches. The entire group will then participate in an interactive game.
