Don't forget to drop off your ballot this week as the voting period for the coordinated elections ends on Tuesday, November 7th. It is International Games Month, and the Mancos Public Library does have plans to celebrate. Fenceline Cider invites you to celebrate the season at its Harvest Party on November 5th. And if you're a Coloradan and Android user, you can now add your Colorado ID to your phone. You're watching the local news roundup brought to you by Choice Building Supply and Big O Tires. I'm Connor Shreve. The last day to vote in the Montezuma County coordinated election is Tuesday, November 7th. Ballots can be mailed to or dropped off at the Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder's office in Cortez, or deposited in a local 24-hour drop box prior to 7:00 PM on November 7th. Drop boxes are located at the Dolores Town Hall, Mancos Town Hall, Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Complex, and Cox Corners. More information is available on Montezuma County's website. November is International Games month, and the Mancos Public Library invites you to celebrate. While games are available at the Mancos Public Library all year long, this month, the library will be hosting special gaming events, including teen nights, trivia, team games, and more. According to Games and Gaming Round Table, International Games Month began in 2007 as an attempt to set a record for the highest number of people playing the same game at the same time in as many libraries as possible. Originally called National Games Day, the event has expanded both its reach and duration, finally changing to International Games Month in 2022. Now the event is celebrated in 54 countries and on all seven continents with a focus on building community and playing together at local libraries. The Fenceline Cider Harvest Party is coming up Sunday, November 5th in Mancos. The event officially starts at 4:00 PM at Fenceline's taproom and cellar. Tickets include a homestyle barbecue dinner, open cider bar, and an optional orchard tour beginning prior to the event at 2:00 PM. Tickets are available on Fenceline's website with discounted tickets for Cider Club members. Coloradans can now add their driver's license or state ID to their phone using Google Wallet. This feature is available on Androids 8.0 and up and can be used at select TSA PreCheck security checkpoints within participating airports. The Department of Motor Vehicles does remind everybody that it does not replace carrying a physical ID card and is not recognized as a valid form of ID by law enforcement. Colorado is one of the first states to add their driver's licenses and state IDs to Google Wallet, along with Arizona and Georgia.
