Keep your eyes open for especially festive holiday wreaths around town for the next few weeks, it could earn you a few extra bucks. The Annual Cortez Festival of Wreaths is underway now, and it lasts until December 4th. Watch for holiday wreaths displayed at local organizations and businesses throughout Cortez. You can play the scavenger hunt to win money in Cortez cash cards and go online to bid on your favorite wreath. You can also take part in the scavenger hunt either on your phone by downloading the Loquiz app or by getting a paper passport. You can do that at the Colorado Welcome Center. Everybody will be entered in the drawing of $1,000 worth of Cortez cash cards, and those can be redeemed at any local business that takes credit cards.
