The Montezuma County Landfill has extended its recycling hold while waiting for more parts to ship. Menkes Public Library is hosting a special teen cafe with a Japanese theme. Inspire Me Latin America will have artisan products for sale at a pop-up event at Fence Line Cider. Dolores Public Library is holding a meet and greet with a Colorado House of Representatives candidate. The Montezuma County Landfill has extended its recycling hold while work continues on maintenance issues. While the baler has now been fixed, the system modem recently went out. A new modem is expected to arrive mid-August, with normal operations proceeding shortly after. Montezuma County has received numerous phone calls regarding the status of the repairs and would like to remind everyone that all updates will be posted on the county's website and Facebook page. Menkes Public Library is creating a Japanese-style shopping district for a special teen cafe. Teens will be given a small satchel of money to be spent at the tea shop, candy store, craft station, bookstore and game store. This free event will take place on Saturday, August 10th from 3 to 8 p.m. Fence Line Cider is hosting a pop-up event for Inspire Me Latin America on Saturday, August 10th from 3 to 8 PM. Products are all handcrafted and hand-selected by Inspire Me Latin America's Artisan Partners. The organization aims to create economic access and independence for women in Latin American countries. Dolores Public Library is holding a candidate meet-and-greet with Democrat Adam Frisch on Tuesday, August 13th at 4 PM. Frisch is running in the general election for U.S. House Colorado District 3.
