The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles reports that 96% of all state issued driver's license and ID cards meet real ID standards. Cards issued or renewed since then are real ID compliant, marked by a star in the corner starting May 7th. The Transportation Security Administration will only accept these cards or other federally approved identification such as a passport for travel.
